1 Introduction Cow's milk allergy (CMA) is the most common food allergy worldwide, recently reported to affect about 6% of the general population in Western countries [1]. It resolves in about 60% of children by school age but can persist throughout life. Cow's milk is one of the most common causes of fatalities from food-induced anaphylaxis, alongside peanut and other nuts [2-4].
