To be a journalist means to interact, observe and understand humanity from a exceptionally unique way,

Around 2-3 sentences detailing the angle and reason it needs to be covered.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Software.: Mac OS. I use many collaboration tools such as Google Suite, Asana, Trello, and so forth.

Why did you become a journalist?
To shed light on our world's injustices through the lens of myself as a black woman.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I've gotten short stories published in a literary arts journal in high school. My high school did not have a newspaper.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
One i got published in Berkeley side that focused on a homeless advocacy group.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Just start writing and believe in your words! They make a difference!

Anytime. I am on 24/7 as news is always happening.

To be able to cover a collaborative dance performance that focused on empowering at risk youth

I have not yet received a bad pitch actually
