Man arrested in Vinton County child abuse case scheduled for unrelated hearing

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — At least one member of the Siders family will be in court this week after four adults were arrested and 16 children were rescued from a home in Vinton County. On June 30, Vinton County Sheriff’s deputies arrived at a home in Hamden, a village of about 700 people, to serve a warrant for a “parallel case.” Upon arrival, deputies said they found 16 children who were allegedly kept isolated in a 12-by-12 room.
