DSG pilots free laundry detergent program in two residence halls

Dartmouth Student Government launched a pilot program providing free, environmentally friendly laundry detergent sheets in Fayerweather Hall and Russell Sage Hall on Sept. 24 and Oct. 14, respectively. The $4,500 initiative was led by South House senator and health, wellness and safety committee chair Isla Walker ’29 in collaboration with Generation Conscious, a New York-based sustainability startup that develops low-waste household and personal care products, including laundry detergent sheets.
