3.5. Small-Scale System Performance of Potassium Chloride This experiment investigated the temperature response of Potassium Chloride within a small-scale system. The first trial was performed with 850 g of fresh Potassium Chloride and 2050 mL of distilled water dripped over approximately 20 s at a flow rate of 100 mL/s. The result is shown in Figure 8.

3. LCA Methodology for TES with Low TRL The number of LCA publications found during the literature search was highly correlated with the maturity/readiness level of TES technologies. The technology maturity/readiness level was defined by the International Energy Agency (IEA) in the extended Technology Readiness Level (TRL) scale, as shown in Figure 6 [53].
