We used the Honda multi-fingered hand simulator, introduced by Hasegawa et al. [36] to render a synthetic image dataset for the experiments and benchmark the models using various postures for the robotic fingers. The Honda multi-fingered hand (a structure with 4-fingers, 11-degrees of freedom, and 16-joints) was used as the robotic-hand model. The dataset contained 13 postures of the robotic hand based on grasp taxonomy and 16 related behaviors.
