4. Discussion This systematic review aimed to assess and evaluate the difference in the effect of preformed anatomically shaped osteosynthesis plates and PSIs versus conventional flat plates on treating skeletal fractures in terms of anatomical reduction, operation time, approach, patient outcome, and complications. The industry has reported that preformed anatomically shaped osteosynthesis plates are a powerful and superior treatment modality for patients with fractures.
