INTRODUCTION Medical imaging (broadly defined) is an increasingly important part of clinical practice, but its position in the medical curriculum is still uncertain.1 Several recent review articles have all found a need and a desire for more radiology training in the preclinical curriculum for medical students.2-5 However, there is still a question on who will instruct students in radiology. The benefit of incorporating radiology in anatomy education has been well researched.
