A Narrative Exploration of One Teacher’s Storied Experiences of Online Learning during COVID-19
1. Introduction Teaching experiences are influenced by the connections that teachers make with their learners. Understanding the subtleties within these connections is critical because they may include affirmative or adverse feelings and emotions that shape teachers’ experiences [1]. One avenue of investigation into teaching experiences could be through teacher stories, which enables teachers to explicate their sense-making process.

Possible coexistence of magnetic and antimagnetic rotations in $^{61}\mathrm{Ni}$
Abstract The high-spin spectroscopy of Ni61 has been studied by the fusion-evaporation reaction Cr54(B11,4n)Ni61 at a beam energy of 54 MeV. One dipole band and one quadrupole band in Ni61 are established for the first time. They can be respectively taken as candidates of magnetic and antimagnetic rotational bands based on the comparison with the well-known cases in Cd110 and the calculations of the classical particles-plus-rotor model.
Genome‐wide identification and expression analysis of SlRR genes in response to abiotic stress in tomato
Abstract The cytokinin two-component signal transduction system (TCS) is involved in many biological processes, including hormone signal transduction and plant growth regulation. Although cytokinin TCS has been well characterized in Arabidopsis thaliana, its role in tomato remains elusive. In this study, we characterized the diversity and function of response regulator (RR) genes, a critical component of TCS, in tomato. In total, we identified 31 RR genes in the tomato genome.

Lack of response to intravenous sodium thiosulfate in three cases of extensive connective tissue disease‐associated calcinosis cutis
Dystrophic calcinosis cutis is a debilitating condition of calcium salt deposition in the skin often occurring in association with connective tissue disease (CTD). Available treatments for calcinosis cutis are unsatisfactory, but given the recent use of topical and intralesional sodium thiosulfate (STS) to treat calcifying disorders, we sought to describe the use of intravenous (IV) STS for CTD‐associated dystrophic calcinosis cutis.
Shorter preschool, leukocyte telomere length is associated with obesity at age 9 in Latino children
The aim of this study was to determine the potential role of leukocyte telomere length as a biomarker for development of childhood obesity in a low-income Latino population. A birth cohort of Latino children (N?=?201) in San Francisco (recruited May 2006–May 2007) was followed until age 9 and assessed annually for obesity and dietary intake. Leukocyte telomere length was measured at 4 and 5 years (n =?102) and assessed as a predictor for obesity at age 9, adjusting for known risk factors.
Confirmation of elevated methane emissions in Utah's Uintah Basin with ground-based observations and a high-resolution transport model
Large CH leak rates have been observed in the Uintah Basin of eastern Utah, an area with over 10,000 active and producing natural gas and oil wells. In this paper, we model CH concentrations at four sites in the Uintah Basin and compare the simulated results to in situ observations at these sites during two spring time periods in 2015 and 2016. These sites include a baseline location (Fruitland); two sites near oil wells (Roosevelt and Castlepeak); and a site near natural gas wells (Horsepool).

Tundra photosynthesis captured by satellite-observed solar-induced chlorophyll fluorescence
Accurately quantifying the timing and magnitude of respiration and photosynthesis by high-latitude ecosystems is important for understanding how a warming climate influences global carbon cycling. Data-driven estimates of photosynthesis across Arctic regions often rely on satellite-derived enhanced vegetation index (EVI); we find that satellite observations of solar-induced chlorophyll fluorescence (SIF) provide a more direct proxy for photosynthesis.

Planetary Gear Parametric Instability
Parametric instability is investigated for planetary gears where the fluctuating stiffness results from the changing contact conditions at the multiple tooth meshes. The time-varying mesh stiffnesses of the sun-planet and ring-planet meshes are modeled as rectangular waveforms with different contact ratios and mesh phasing. The operating conditions leading to parametric instability are analytically identified.
