Sex Differences Across the Donor Heart Offer-to-Outcome Pathway: A Linked National Cohort Study
The authors have declared no competing interest. Not applicable. This study is a retrospective observational analysis of deidentified registry data and involved no prospective intervention or assignment of treatment. I confirm all relevant ethical guidelines have been followed, and any necessary IRB and/or ethics committee approvals have been obtained.

Conjoined Parasitic Twins (Cephalo‐Thoracopagus Parasiticus) in a Free Ranging Northern Bat (Eptesicus nilssonii): A Micro‐CT Anatomic and Genetic Survey
1 Introduction Twinning is a relatively rare occurring phenomenon in normally uniparous animals and humans. The global twinning rate in humans is actually about 1.2% (Monden et al. 2021). In monotocous animals like cattle, the average rate is about 3%–5%, varying largely in different breeds (Samad 2022). Horses show a comparable average rate of 3.5% in Thoroughbred mares (Wolc et al. 2006).

Framework to assess the stable operation of commercially available single-phase inverters for photovoltaic applications in public low voltage networks
This paper presents a framework to assess the grid compatibility of single-phase inverters connected to public low voltage network, which is characterized by a stable operation at reasonable emission. The assessment is based on considering emission, immunity and stability. The state of the art for commercially available devices relies only on the classical, impedance-based stability analysis based on the Nyquist criterion.

Deterministic and stochastic aspects of current-induced magnetization reversal in perpendicular nanomagnets
Abstract We study the incubation and transition times that characterize the magnetization switching induced by spin-orbit torques in nanomagnets with perpendicular anisotropy. We present a phenomenological model to interpret the dependence of the incubation time on the amplitude of the voltage pulse and assisting magnetic field and estimate the volume of the seed domain that triggers the switching.

3 new trends in student assessment
The National Council on Measurement in Education’s (NCME) annual meeting has always offered an opportunity to learn about innovative research and new trends in student assessment. It is a chance to get hints of where the field is moving and what will be available to school districts, teachers, and students. This year did not disappoint.
Geometrical effects on the downstream conductance in quantum-Hall--superconductor hybrid systems
Abstract We consider a quantum Hall (QH) region in contact with a superconductor (SC), i.e., a QH-SC junction. Due to successive Andreev reflections, the QH-SC interface hosts hybridized electron and hole edge states called chiral Andreev edge states (CAES). We theoretically study the transport properties of these CAES by using a microscopic, tight-binding model. We find that the transport properties strongly depend on the contact geometry and the value of the filling factor.

CBS News Intern Shows How Easy It Is To Obtain An Abortion
Enjoy this parody of a CBS News story about the ease of obtaining AR-15s. The Kermit Gosnell murder trial has rekindled the debate over abortion as Republicans pounce on restrictions after the disturbing details of abortion were brought to light in Philadelphia. But in many states across the country, the laws are pretty straightforward about killing a child in utero.
Doris Priesching: Was mir zum Thema spontan einfällt, ist "The Wire", erste Staffel.
