A look at Marsha Blackburn's economic vision for Tennessee | Opinion
Tennessee has something every state across America is trying to replicate: a strong economy, a growing workforce and businesses that want to invest here. From Starbucks to Smith & Wesson and everything in between, Tennessee's business climate has never been stronger. Companies are choosing Tennessee because of our talented workforce, low taxes and the freedom to grow. That investment is creating opportunities for Tennesseans in communities across our state.
Player ratings as Wolves lose 1-0 against Tottenham
After Rob’s midweek comments about the newly-confirmed relegated side showing some kind of response, the highest rating would likely go to the weather. Both sides were slow, lacklustre and quite woeful on the ball. When Wolves were pressured, the defence stood mainly resolute throughout and were only bested by a Matt Doherty error late on, allowing Joao Palinha to prod Richarlison’s wayward effort in the net. Going forward, however, Wolves offered very little – such is the way of the season.
Player Ratings As Wolves Beat West Ham 3-0
Wolves finally put an end to a beyond-miserable run by beating West Ham in emphatic fashion, earning their first victory of the season. Goals from Jhon Arias and Mateus Mané, and a cool Hwang penalty, were enough to see off an overly lacklustre West Ham side under Nuno.

Composite Bonding: The Quick Fix for a Flawless Smile
There’s a difference between a smile that simply looks nice and one that truly turns heads. That small chip in your tooth or the slight gap you’ve always noticed? Those little imperfections can quietly chip away at your confidence, even if nobody else comments on them. And while braces or veneers might seem like overkill for something so minor, ignoring it doesn’t always feel like the right call either. That’s exactly where composite bonding comes in.

Avalanche vs. Hurricanes, Game 52: Lines, Starting Goalies & How To Watch
When the Colorado Avalanche and Carolina Hurricanes met at the start of the season, Carolina couldn’t buy a save. Since then, a lot of things have changed on both sides. The Hurricanes have locked things down a fair bit defensively, while the Avalanche have had issues in net for a large portion of the year, so Thursday night’s matchup will be an interesting one. Alexandar Georgiev will be back in net for the Avalanche against the Hurricanes.

Cyclical nature of the Financial System
To be able to determine the future of the financial system we have to first come to an understanding of how the existing one came to be and what driving factors did it take to get here. One interesting indicator that's not talked about in schools is the Shemitah 7 year cycles which indicates significant world change that sequentially occurs in 7 year periods, especially in Finance.

What did Bednar have planned for his birthday? “You’re looking at it,” he said.

Preview: Coastal Carolina confident ahead of rematch with Kansas
Andrew Parchment has rewatched the game twice. He still can't get the bad taste out of his mouth. Just over a year ago, Coastal Carolina marched into David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium and stunned a crowd of 33,493 with a 12-7 win. In the aftermath of the game, the Chanticleers rushed into the visiting locker room and celebrated by smashing a Jayhawk piñata hanging from the ceiling. “It just ended so fast; it was all a blur,” Parchment said.
True freshman Karon Prunty poised to play early for KU football
Karon Prunty's mannerisms can be described as quiet but focused. Prunty, who was the No. 107-ranked cornerback in the Top247 out of high school, is the only player on KU football's roster from the state of Virginia. He’s also the only true freshman listed to start against Coastal Carolina this week. Les Miles, who recruited Prunty alongside cornerbacks coach Chevis Jackson, dubbed the freshman as one of the players he is excited to watch on Saturday.
Sam Burt sees 'a lot of improvements' on KU's defensive line
Sam Burt is a Kansas kid living the dream many walk-ons envision upon arriving at a Division-I FBS program. Burt, who lettered in powerlifting, track and wrestling at Abilene High School, walked-on for KU football in 2017. It wasn’t until last season that Les Miles awarded Burt with a scholarship in a team meeting. Now, the 6-foot-4, 293-pound defensive lineman steps into a veteran role for a defense that he says is rapidly improving.
KU football players react to having season opener without fans
When KU football takes the field on Sep. 12 against Coastal Carolina, it will be in front of an empty stadium. Kansas, whose 2019 attendance numbers increased by over 14,000 from the previous year, will play at 9 p.m. CT on Fox Sports 1. Kansas averaged 33,875 fans per home game last year. The desolate environment is one that KU has been preparing for in practice. Kyle Mayberry, one of the veteran members of the defense, knows the practices will be representative of how the first game will feel.
White Sox walk-off Royals in extras, 5-2
Following an offensive explosion in Saturday’s win against the White Sox, the Royals were walked-off in extras by Chicago, 5-2. Kansas City faced off against rookie right-hander Dane Dunning, who was making his second career Major League start. However, the former Florida Gator pitcher more like a polished veteran than an inexperienced rookie. Dunning sat down the first three Royals hitters on strikes to start the game.
Cardinals get four runs in the ninth to beat Royals, 6-5
After an impressive showing for their bullpen Tuesday night, the Royals blew a three-run lead in the ninth to lose to St. Louis, 6-5. For the first time since August 7th, Jakob Junis climbed the bump for Kansas City. With Cam Gallagher as his catcher, Junis started things off with two scoreless frames and racked up four strikeouts. In the top of the third, Gallagher helped out his pitcher with a two-run blast into the bullpen in left field.
'Special' Pooka Williams has chance at Kansas history in 2020
Pooka Williams Jr. never ceases to floor his teammates. Whether it’s his coaches, quarterback or players on the other side of the ball, Williams' dynamic abilities make him a football marvel. Though the Jayhawks haven’t won more than three games in a single season since his 2018 arrival, Williams is must-see television. He also has the chance to make history in 2020.
Analysis: DaJon Terry could be key to 2020 KU run defense
Manage Calling KU football defensive tackle DaJon Terry a “big man” wouldn’t do justice for those who haven’t seen him. At 6-foot-4, 345 pounds, Terry is built bigger than most NFL defensive lineman. But given Terry's sheer size, the Jayhawks feel his build fits perfectly into their front seven. Terry saw limited playing time in 2019. After playing in the first three non-conference games for KU, the Mississippi-native did not appear again and redshirted.
