TOLEDO, Ohio — With temperatures continuing to soar across Northwest Ohio, the Area Office on Aging is reminding older adults to take extra precautions to stay safe. For many adults over 60, extreme heat can mean extreme danger. “We are not who we once were. We're more vulnerable just by virtue of having the gift of life for a long time,” said Ireatha Hollie, vice president of Area Office on Aging of Northwest Ohio Guiding Paths for Seniors.
