What was your first job as a journalist?

Intern, duh.

Yes.

What does it mean to be a journalist?

It can mean many things, but overall I suppose it means writing the truth regardless of what that truth might be.

Why did you become a journalist?

Because I didn't get the grades to do music at Uni and I was pretty good at English.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

Nope.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Find mentors and don't be afraid to ask for help even if you're rejected. Never stop learning.

When's the best time to pitch you?

Whenever! A good story can't wait.
