I was born, raised and schooled in Rugby, the market town birthplace of the game in Great Britain, before studying English lit. with creative writing at Hull University for three years.

During my second year I interned at the international gay men's lifestyle magazine GT (nee Gay Times) in London, resulting in monthly freelance work as the mag's sock puppet agony uncle, "Mr Sock", as well as collating and editing a confessions style column called (oddly enough) "Confessions".

Meta hJxv78 Everyone talks about earthquakes in the Bay Area. Small earthquakes in the Bay Area are a lot more common, but it’s worth remembering that Seattle gets mega earthquakes that are much bigger than the Bay Area faults are capable of producing every 300 years or so. It probably won’t happen while you are there. But it’s a good idea to think about how structurally strong any house you buy/rent is, and to not live in a low lying area in case a tsunami is triggered.
