Chattanooga’s 82-68 loss to Lipscomb may have been a wake-up call for the Mocs. Lipscomb, a similar program and a team without their best player, was just better. “They play a very similar, if not the same style as us. It’s like looking in the mirror a lot of ways, they were just much sharper and much tougher,” said Head Coach Dan Earl. Chattanooga found that out quickly, but even more importantly, they learned a lot about their own team in Tuesday’s 72-64 win over the Knights. Trailing 64-59 with 3:53 to play, one more stop and bucket from the visitors, and it was over - at least it felt that way. They weren't going to beat themselves. The Mocs, on the other hand, couldn’t sniff a bucket via their favorite shot.
