Jackson Stephens’s Biography

The stories I am most passionate to tell are in-depth under reported issues facing immigrants and refugees, especially how government and laws affect these communities.

I have experience at USC Annenberg Media reporting and publishing text, radio, and video pieces. I am a member of the Society of Professional Journalists and the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.

As the USC Annenberg Media Global City Desk Editor I was responsible for editing writers feature and day of news articles for AP style, relevance to global topics that are of interest to a student audience and the LA community, source accuracy and attribution, and effective writing such as the placement of nut grafs and quotes.
