Globally, 1.4 million people are diagnosed annually with prostate cancer and 487,000 die of the disease.1 In the United States, 3.6 million people are prostate cancer survivors,2 of whom an estimated 180,000 are living with advanced prostate cancer, defined as de novo metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer (mHSPC) at diagnosis; cancers that have progressed to mHSPC after local therapy, and cancers that have progressed to castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC).
