Jacob Korenblum’s Biography
In the area of digital company strategy, Jacob Korenblum is a well-known pioneer. He has been in charge of designing and launching digital solutions for problems in markets throughout Africa, Asia, and the Middle East for over 15 years. The Financial Times, Forbes, Devex, and Scientific American are just a few of the prestigious media outlets covering his work. Korenblum makes his home in Toronto, Ontario, where he loves to sail.
Korenblum rose fast through the ranks at EDC and eventually assumed responsibility for communications, monitoring, and evaluation for a project in the Middle East. He spent many years residing and working there.
Korenblum earned a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Toronto in 2004. At Harvard University, Korenblum received a Fellowship in Social Entrepreneurship in 2005 from the Catherine B. Reynolds Foundation. Korenblum completed the Harvard Graduate School of Education's master's degree program in 2006. With a concentration on social enterprise and global education policy, he earned a master's degree in education.
In addition to writing for UNICEF, Jacob Korenblum has advised the UNESCO Pearson Digital Literacy Project. Similarly, from 2016 to 2018, he was a member of the advisory board for the Global Youth Economic Opportunity Summit.
For more than four years, Korenblum has worked as a strategic advisor for The Global Citizens' Initiative, a global group whose members support issues linked to conflict resolution, sustainability, climate preservation, and other humanitarian objectives.
Jacob is still concerned about social concerns worldwide, and he appreciates using his time, experience, and financial acumen to help local communities and small business owners worldwide.
