Teen Shot At LI House Party, Hospitalized In Serious Condition: Police

WEST BABYLON, NY - A teenager was shot at a party in West Babylon on Friday night, according to Suffolk County police. Police said that a 911 caller reported a person was shot in front of 1234 11 St. during a party around 11:17 p.m. Upon arrival, police said they found a 17-year-old male with multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries, police said. Police said they believe the teen was targeted.

Teen Boy Reported Missing On Long Island: Police

LINDENHURST, NY - Suffolk County police are seeking the public's help to locate a Lindenhurst teenager who has been missing since July. Christopher Vinson, 17, was reported missing on July 14 after he was last seen at the Jamaica, Queens, train station on July 13 and failed to return to his Lindenhurst home. Police said Vinson is Black, 5 feet 6 inches tall, and weighs around 140 pounds. Anyone with information on Vinson's location may call 911 or the First Squad at 631-854-8152.

Child Hospitalized After Getting Hit By Car While Riding Bike: Police

WYANDANCH, NY - An 8-year-old boy was struck by an SUV and seriously injured on Long Island Friday afternoon, according to Suffolk County police. Darrin Benion, of Mastic, was riding his bicycle northbound on Brook Avenue near Spruce Street when he veered into the middle of the roadway and was struck by a 2016 Honda CR-V driven by Myaysia Lloyd, of Wyandanch, police said.
