The art that brings Provo to life: Murals of downtown Downtown Provo is more than just a street of stores … It's a living art gallery! The area is home to more than 30 murals. The bright and colorful artworks deck the walls of local shops and alleyways. These creative pieces highlight local artists and help turn blank walls into public art. Many of the murals were past projects from the Downtown Provo Monthly Mural Program.

Inside the BYU Salt Lake Center Just up north from Provo campus, the BYU Salt Lake Center offers students a different learning environment. Trading the mountains for the city skyline, hundreds of students head to the Salt Lake Center to complete classes at the campus in Salt Lake. The Salt Lake Center is a top choice for many students and teachers because of their flexible schedule, offering classes until about 8 o'clock at night.

At BYU — a university rooted in both spiritual and academic learning — student Adilyn Dababneh has been able to fully embrace her faith. As a teenager in Texas, that wasn’t always the case. “In high school, everyone knew I was a member of the church, but it was kind of taboo in a way,” Dababneh said.
