This paper aims to share outputs from a Quality and Qualifications Ireland (QQI) Transforming Assessment funded project. The objective of the project was to explore the impact of Interactive Oral Assessment (IO) at Dublin City University (DCU). Griffith University, Australia, pioneered IOs in their university in 2016 and has evidence to support their success in promoting academic integrity, engaging students and preparing them professionally.
