At 13, I wrote a story for What's Up? Annapolis Magazine profiling 10 Redskins and Ravens players to watch out for during training camp.

It gets the word out faster. People frequently check social media before checking traditional news outlets.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
It means providing the public with reliable, updated news and information with integrity on a constant basis.

Why did you become a journalist?
I originally wanted to become a football player but getting injured got old quickly so I decided I'd rather cover sports instead.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
Yes. I was the co-sports editor for The Current at South River High School.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Figure out what makes you unique and let that set you apart from your colleagues.
