Alexander Rossi inks deal with Ed Carpenter Racing for 2025 season

INDIANAPOLIS — On Wednesday, Ed Carpenter Racing and former Indianapolis 500 champion Alexander Rossi announced an agreement for Rossi to pilot the No. 20 ECR Chevy during the 2025 season. Rossi, who won the 100th running of the Indianapolis 500, will join Christian Rasmussen as a full-time driver for the team. Team co-owner Ed Carpenter will round out ECR’s three-car lineup for the Indianapolis 500.

Ramp from I-69 northbound to 82nd Street now open

INDIANAPOLIS — One of the busiest traveled areas in the city got a little easier to navigate this week. On Tuesday, the ramp from I-69 northbound to 82nd Street opened. INDOT Drivers can now access 82nd Street when traveling from I-465 north to I-69 north. As of now, there is no access from 82nd Street from Binford Boulevard or I-465 East. Clear Path 465 construction continues in the area so continue to monitor speed limits.

Indiana Task Force 1 deploying to Florida ahead of potential Hurricane Helene

INDIANAPOLIS — Ahead of the potentially dangerous Hurricane Helene, Indiana Task Force One is activating. As of Noon, TF-1 was activated to deploy as a Type 1 MINS Mission Ready Package in support of the potential hurricane. In total, 80 personnel will make the trip down to Florida and they will leave this evening. This is a developing story.
