Feasibility of Enceladus plume biosignature analysis: Successful capture of organic ice particles in hypervelocity impacts
Abstract Enceladus is a compelling destination for astrobiological analyses due to the presence of simple and complex organic constituents in cryovolcanic plumes that jet from its subsurface ocean. Enceladus plume capture during a flyby or orbiter mission is an appealing method for obtaining pristine ocean samples for scientific studies of this organic content because of the high science return, reduced planetary protection challenges, and lower risk and expense compared to a landed mission.
Get Ready Australia: FutureStack18 Is Coming to Sydney and Melbourne
FutureStack, New Relic’s global user conference, is coming to Australia in October … not once but twice! That’s right, we’re holding FutureStack18 events in Sydney on Wednesday, 17 October and also in Melbourne on Friday, 19 October. Human Resources and The Evolution of the Employee | Squiz Blog
The internet would have you believe that we’re hurtling down a path towards HR nirvana: a golden age of unprecedented engagement and interaction between employers and employees driven largely by the rapid increase of technology and the benefits it brings. While the internet might be onto something, there is surprisingly little attention given to the employees themselves and how their evolution – rather than the world around them – is shaping the HR landscape.
Effects of neonatal antigen exposure on natural antibody repertoire development
B-1 B cells produce natural antibodies that contribute significantly to maintenance of immunological homeostasis, however the role exogenous antigens play in the development of the B-1 B cell repertoire is unclear. N-acetyl-D-glucosamine (GlcNAc)-reactive antibodies are universally represented in mammals, and some GlcNAc-reactive B cell clonotypes are autoreactive due to the conservation of orthologous GlcNAc epitopes in mammals and microorganisms.
How Marketing Automation Is Like "Terminator"
In the latest Terminator movie (Terminator: Genisys), Arnold Schwarzenegger turns out to be the good guy. Well, the good machine. He has been reprogrammed to protect Sarah Connor from other machines that come from the future to prevent her from having a son who will stop the machines existing in the first place. Confused? So am I. That’s the thing about technology; it can be difficult to get to grips with, even without the paradox of time travel. Some marketers are struggling with it.
