TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — It's an issue that's hard to get over: Thousands of bridges across the country are in poor condition, separating communities and isolating Americans. The Biden administration has announced plans to fix many of these bridges, but the rate repairs are happening means many of the 14,000 bridges will remain in a state of neglect for years. Data specific to Arizona shows more than 50 bridges that are considered in 'poor 'condition by the Federal Highway Administration (FHA).

TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — Soon UPS drivers will finally get some relief from the heat. For the first time ever, the delivery company is adding air conditioning to its fleet. UPS announced it has reached an agreement with the Teamsters Union to address heat safety. Starting next year, all new trucks will come equipped with AC. Older trucks without air conditioning will get fans installed.

TUCSON, Ariz. — Thousands of students are competing in the SARSEF Arizona Regional Science and Engineering Fair. Every year, kids from across Arizona show off their hard work and research, with more than $100,000 in scholarship money up for grabs. "I just like how this fair gave me the opportunity to go around and look at other young scientists projects, and yeah I love seeing their hard work come to fruition and also seeing my own hard work," says Steven Amanat, a junior at BASIS Tucson North.
