West Ham are taking no prisoners as they drop to the Championship, with a deal for Portuguese midfielder Gustavo Sa set to be sealed. Record reports that WHUFC have agreed to sign the 21-year-old talent from Famalicao for €20m (£17.1m). The Liga Portugal side were holding out for €25m (£21.4m), but they have accepted the Hammers’ lower offer. It marks the biggest sale in Famalicao’s history.

The midfielder could leave Crystal Palace before the 2026/27 campaign. Leicester City are interested in Devenny too, and could pay as much as £5m to land him.

QPR saw Joe Walsh emerge as their number one over the 2025/26 campaign, but the 24-year-old is set to head out on loan this summer. Alan Nixon reports that League One side Wigan Athletic are doing a deal to land the goalkeeper. The Latics are in need of a new starting shot-stopper following Sam Tickle’s transfer to Bristol City. And, with the Hoops eager for Walsh to get more first-team exposure, a deal has been done between the two clubs.
