James Draven has been shortlisted for 42 awards, been highly commended five times, and won 13 awards as a travel journalist and editor.

He has written for around 50 English-language publications. His work is featured in the anthology, The Best British Travel Writing of the 21st Century, and also appears in five English revision textbooks, alongside the likes of Dickens and Betjeman.

Specialising in wildlife, Indigenous communities, transformative travel, responsible travel, adventure travel, nighttime travel and nocturnal experiences, James Draven is also a leading expert in 'noctourism'.

He has visited 116 countries & territories plus 45 US States.
