It is one thing to visit Walt Disney World as part of a two-week holiday to Florida. It is another thing entirely to attempt to do all of it in a single day. Yes, that’s right, all four theme parks, dawn to fireworks, with favourite rides, headline attractions and brand-new experiences all ticked off in 14 hours. If it were possible, it would make Disney do-able in a long weekend and, thanks to Disney’s VIP Tour service, it turns out to be not only possible, but unnervingly smooth.

Universal Orlando’s long-awaited new theme park, Epic Universe, officially opened on 22 May 2025, becoming the first major, ground-up theme park to debut in Orlando in a quarter of a century. Accordingly, demand has been such that, in its opening months, even visitors armed with week-long passes have been permitted only one day inside Epic Universe itself, the park operating the sort of crowd-management rules normally reserved for Glastonbury and papal funerals.
