The top-ranked Case Western Reserve University men's tennis team made history on Tuesday night, winning the first NCAA Division III Championship in the history of athletics at the university with a 5-2 victory over second-ranked Tufts University at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida.

Case Western Reserve University junior Vishwa Aduru turned in a performance that will go down as one of the most memorable in the program's history, as the junior came from behind to win a three-set marathon match at second singles and propel the top-ranked Spartans into their third-straight NCAA Championship Match with a 5-4 win over fourth-ranked Middlebury College at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida on Monday afternoon.

The top-ranked Case Western Reserve University men's tennis team positioned itself just two wins away from the NCAA Division III Championship with a 5-1 win over 13th-ranked Gustavus Adolphus College in the quarterfinals of the NCAA tournament on Saturday morning at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida. The Spartans will have a day off on Sunday before returning to the courts on Monday to face either fourth-ranked Middlebury College or 11th-ranked Bowdoin in the semifinals.
