Jamie Jackson’s Biography

Jamie Jackson is an Emmy-nominated, award-winning journalist and media executive who serves as Executive Producer and Anchor of the American Black News Network, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) news organization he founded to deliver original reporting, interviews and analysis focused on the issues shaping Black America.

Jackson previously spent 11 years with American Urban Radio Networks (AURN), where he covered national politics, business and major news events and served as a White House correspondent across multiple presidential administrations. His career has included reporting and anchoring for NPR and commercial radio and television stations across the country, as well as work on Capitol Hill as a congressional communications director and press secretary.

Throughout his career, Jackson has interviewed national political leaders, business executives, cultural figures and newsmakers and has been recognized for his reporting and storytelling, including an Emmy nomination and honors from the Indiana Broadcasters Association and other journalism organizations.
