BMW has partnered with Sony Pictures and Marvel to place a specially-made BMW iX3 Flow – Spider-Man Brand New Day Edition and 5-series sedan in the new movie Spider-Man Brand New Day, but car owners are upset to see what they are calling a forced ad when they step into their vehicles. The “special surprise”, as BMW officially describes it, is a banner that appears on the central infotainment screen. When tapped, it launches a full-screen video with sound and synchronised ambient lighting effects.

Honda Cars India has launched the ZR-V strong hybrid SUV in India, after showing it off here for the first time in late May. Deliveries for the fully imported hybrid model are set to begin imminently. The ZR-V e:HEV has an introductory price of ₹47.99 lakh (ex-Showroom, Delhi). This marks the beginning of a turnaround for the Japanese carmaker in India which has so far largely neglected the growing SUV market, and is the first of several planned import models.
