It is the principle of changing the direction of bone growth by inhibiting or stimulating growth in selected areas of the physis (growth plate). Since then, it has evolved into a well-established treatment concept for correcting angular deformities of the lower limb in children (1).

Psychomotor skill and decision-making efficiency in surgical wire navigation can be objectively evaluated by analysis of intraoperative fluoroscopic image sequences.
