What was your first job as a journalist?
My first job was as a producer at WECT News. In just six months, I added multimedia journalist to my title.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
I used a typewriter a few times in elementary school. My mom helped me!
How is social media changing news?
Many times, the first alert of news is a tweet. There is more news available quicker, but you still need journalists to verify the facts.

My favorite social network is definitely Twitter!

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Always work harder than the day before. Get a mentor. It's important to be connected to people who are in the position you want to be in.
