Oh wait, there was a wedding notice in the NYTimes for a bride with almost exactly the same name as my maiden name. And she had a stepfather who was some kind of Scottish shipbuilder or British industrialist name Sir Something Weir. Jane was an alias I already used, so Jane Weir.
