Daily Inspiration: May 25, 2021
Marie T. Russell's Daily Inspiration The focus for today is: I am willing to trust in Life itself. Why do we worry so much about the future? Why are we concerned about what will happen to us or to those we love? Is it because we lack trust in the future... in life... in the universe... in ourselves? Have we lost faith in humanity, in goodness, in love? In order to regain our peace of mind, we need to regain our trust in ourselves, in our fellow humans, in life itself.
Trust the Dance of Life: Live an Experience of Expansion and Joy
Wendy in Raleigh, North Carolina, coined the phrase I now consider a theme song for soul vows: “Before Soul Vows, Wendy 1.0; After Soul Vows, Wendy 2.0.” But when you hear her story, I think you’ll agree with me that she’s becoming something more like Wendy 9.0. Wendy came to the very first Soul Vows class in 2011. At the time, she said she wanted to answer her number one burning question, “Who is my authentic self?” and she felt soul vows would be an integral part of the answer.

What Is The Point Of The Spiritual Journey?

Take Sweet Care of Yourself
To a Celt or Native American or member of any earth-based tradition, the idea of the duality of body and soul would be comical. To our early ancestors, a person was not a body with a soul; a human was an integrated body-soul. But over time, as duality-laden religions dominated the culture, we lost touch with this inner knowing. We stopped seeing the body as the beautiful expression of spirit.

How To Serve Your Soul’s Divine Purpose
Photo credit: Dhaval Vargiya. (CC BY-SA 4.0) The whole idea is you’ve got to bring out again that which you went to recover, the unrealized, unutilized potential in yourself. The whole point of this journey is the reintroduction of this potential into the world; that is to say, to you living in the world. You are to bring this treasure of understanding back and integrate it in a rational life. —Joseph Campbell, Pathways to Bliss The Beloved placed a golden seed of divine purpose in your heart.
What Your Soul Knows: A Sweet Love Pact
There is a Presence inside you. There is a Presence inside everyone. Though you may have long ignored it, perhaps even willfully turned the other way, that divine Presence is alive and well and growing. It is a pulse, silently tapping out the rhythm of the ancient dance of longing for something more, something bigger, something to mark your every step as holy, important, and good. That Presence knows you. It knows who you are and who you long to be.
