Farage’s demagogic by-election stunt makes no sense

Why exactly should the voters of Clacton have the moral authority to decide that Nigel Farage is fit to be a potential leader of the country? Would winning a by-election there automatically erase any possible culpability over all that money he has received? Would it remove any need for an examination by parliamentary authorities on the propriety of his acceptance of those "personal gifts"? This is absurd.

The white working class isn't what it used to be. If we are going to deal with this current education crisis, we will have to talk about it in terms that address today's circumstances, not those of a generation ago. The segment of society that was traditionally called "working class" ("white" came in later, and is a separate issue) once constituted the majority of the population.
