Holly Holm loses title bout after controversial decision

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Holm vs. Han was a much better fight the second time around, but after what Holly Holm thought was a title victory, the judges see it differently as they score it 95-95, 96-94, 96-94, for a majority decision win for Stephanie Han. Holm landed a total of 107 punches, while Han landed 70, and Holly would control the pace of this bout the entire way through.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Reports and rumors over the weekend were saying that Donovan Dent had decided to retire from the sport of basketball. The former UCLA Guard and standout UNM Men’s Basketball player confirmed those claims on Monday at his basketball camp held at Albuquerque Basketball Club. “Yeah, no, it’s true. I have known it, but I just didn’t know everyone knew about it. So, I didn’t think there would be posts going all over social media about it.
