What was your first job as a journalist?
I was a beat writer for the photography blog Fstoppers.com where I eventually became the editor.
Have you ever used a typewriter?
Yup.
How is social media changing news?
It's distilling stories down into catchy headlines, for better or for worse.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Wordpress and Adobe Photoshop primarily, but we also rely heavily on Asana and Google services.

Why did you become a journalist?
I love tech and I love the truth.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
Hard to narrow that down, but the interview I did with Pulitzer-Prize-Winner, AP photographer Emilio Morenatti is the most recent.
What's the best pitch you ever got?
A photo of the Milky Way that took the photographer 12 years to produce. The story wrote itself!
What's your favorite drink?
I really like plain seltzer water, but flavored is great too.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
To the left of my computer, using my monitor with my Playstation.

Gizmodo, The Verge, and Engadget are all great.
