Jasmine Cen covers international and Chinese politics for CGTN in Beijing.

Before relocating, her work in DC and Chicago concentrated on social justice, protests and education. She covered presidential debates and election in fall 2016 at CNN DC Bureau with the Investigative Unit.

She also covered 2016 Democratic and Republican National Conventions for Chinese Online Media Tencent.

Jasmine received a B.A. with double majors in political science and economics from the University of Rochester, and a M.S. in journalism from Northwestern University-Medill School of Journalism.
