Golfweek just listed the best private golf courses for each state in the U.S. for 2026. And if you want to play at those types of courses in Massachusetts, you have an option in Worcester, several on the Cape, some on the South Shore, and more across the Commonwealth. Although you might need to have an invite from an existing member. The pre-requisites in order to be included on this list are as follows: they must be private and don’t accept daily-fee or resort play.
