To serve the reader with accurate, truthful, and informative work.

Why did you become a journalist?

Because I love to write and I wanted to be able to do it all the time.

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Find your voice, be confident in your abilities (but never stop working on them), get your work out there, and listen to your editors.

What's your favorite drink?

Water, coffee, homemade vanilla coke, craft beer, red wine.

When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?

Spending time with my family and trying to keep the house clean.
