Fresh figures from CoStar reveal that 2025 delivered the first full-year decline in both occupancy and revenue per available room since the dark days of 2020, a sobering milestone for a market long buoyed by post-pandemic revenge travel and resilient corporate demand. National occupancy slipped to 62.3 per cent, down 1.2 per cent on 2024.
