embedded PDF viewer in QGIS
I would like to open pdfs via a url link within a feature layer in a docked window inside qgis by clicking on a link to a web hosted pdf I've tried: QWEB plugin lets you browse the web within a docked window but security protocols prevent pdfs from being shown.
How do connect to a postgreSQL (pgadmin4) on from another network?
Asked today Viewed 2 times I have a multipolygon layer in QGIS that I wish to access and edit from multiple different instances of QGIS. Initially I tired a dropbox hosted geopackage but this research led me to consider creating a SQL database. I installed pgadmin 4 and imported the geopackage so now I have a postgreSQL database set up. on the localhost, I can access and edit this database with no issues.
Bulk removal of unused categorised styles in QGIS
I have a geopackage storing polygons for the geology of British Columbia. There is a widely adopted colour code/style for each unit and the geopackage contains the correct colour style. There are several hundred different units. I have subsetted the geopackage to a much smaller area of interest and I would like to delete the now unused styles. There are too many to delete manually so I have been searching for a fast way to do this.
Reducing size of panels inside QGIS UI
I would like to reduce the size of panels in QGIS. I can easily reduce front and icon size by going to settings>general>font/icon size. But this doesn't change the size of the panels. It's better explained by a picture: I've reduced the icon and font size in the toolbars to a nice size, but as an example, the layer style panel remains unaffected. I would like this to be much more compressed so it displays more of the panel without me having to expand it.
