Abstract Online discussions have become commonplace, where people engage in anonymous or non-anonymous conversations on an assortment of topics. However, little is known about the user experiences of blind users in online discussions. Unlike sighted users who can visually skim through voluminous conversations, blind users have to rely on a screen reader that facilitates mostly linear navigation and vocalization of text, which can potentially impact their experience in these conversations.
