Discussion The aim of this study was to ascertain whether the OCT Spectralis posterior pole protocol provides precise information about retinal layers usable in early detection and monitoring of multiple sclerosis. This is a novel study; according to our bibliography review, this is the first paper to use the posterior pole protocol with MS patients.
