But getting my degree was so worth it,” said the Orlando native who came to the Tallahassee campus in 2019. Two years later, she became a mother.

This is the second consecutive year the team has participated in the competition and achieved a top-three ranking. Head Cheerleading Coach Brandi Tatum credited the team’s hard work. “These young ladies put in the work, dedication, and commitment to represent FAMU nationally, and it showed in their performance.
