Why Universal Basic Income Is Still a Bad Idea
Elon Musk recently posted a pronouncement on X: “Universal HIGH INCOME via checks issued by the Federal government is the best way to deal with unemployment caused by AI.” Andrew Yang cheered. Sam Altman concurred. Their message: AI is coming for your job, and only the government can save you. This is not a new script. It is the latest performance of a very old play, recycled with each tech wave since the Luddites smashed textile looms in 1811.

I’m a Conservative. Here’s Why I Support Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.
When President Trump nominated Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. for HHS Secretary in late 2024, some Beltway Republicans tried to tank his nomination. For conservatives, these critics’ strongest argument was that Kennedy was for decades a liberal Democrat who supported abortion on demand. I’m a pro-life conservative. So why did I, along with millions of others like me, support Kennedy’s nomination and tell skeptical pro-life critics to give him the benefit of the doubt?
J.R.R. Tolkien’s Vision of Just War
Might certainly does not make right, but it does not make wrong either. There are times to reject the allure of power, especially when it involves dominating others, and there are times when the right course is to take up arms and fight unreservedly against the forces of darkness. Indeed, Tolkien suggests, there are times when we must do both. Too many pundits, politicians, and priests nowadays treat war as a relic of a barbaric past.
Protecting the Unborn Means Restoring Marriage and Family
On July 28, an Obama-era judge blocked a key provision of President Donald Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill Act”: the one-year ban on taxpayer funding for Planned Parenthood. This latest ruling is just one of many setbacks the pro-life movement has faced since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade in 2022. But that’s not surprising: For 50 years, Roe corrupted not just our laws and courts but our culture—landing us in a society where the defense of unborn human life struggles to resonate.
To Make American Healthy Again, the Country Needs a More Nuanced Farming Policy
In May, the MAHA Commission report elevated the chronic disease epidemic, and laid out, in broad outline, the potential culprits, one of which is “environmental exposures.” The reality of the epidemic, especially among children, is hard to deny. Any effort to identify the cause or causes of that epidemic, however, is bound to be controversial since it threatens to gore the most powerful corporate and regulatory oxen in the pasture. Surviving such encounters will require policy finesse.

How the Trump-RFK Jr. coalition could realign US politics against Big Pharma and Big Food
By If the unlikely coalition of Donald Trump and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. outlives the 2024 presidential election, it could reorder our political categories and leave to our children and grandchildren a quite different future. When Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. endorsed Donald Trump on Aug. 23, the corporate press and conventional Washington, D.C., analysts mostly missed the real story: It was the moment that a disparate, diverse, and potentially disruptive throng of average Americans became a coalition.

(The Daily Signal) — When Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. endorsed Donald Trump on Aug. 23, the corporate press and conventional Washington, D.C., analysts mostly missed the real story: It was the moment that a disparate, diverse, and potentially disruptive throng of average Americans became a coalition. Although RFK, Jr. is famous – or infamous, depending on your view – for his criticisms of vaccines, that wasn’t the theme of his lengthy speech.

BIG IDEA? - Washington Times
in any case, but gender ideologues in Washington have found a way to make it more common — all in the name of fairness to men who “identify as women.” The list of accusers grows by the day. Rose Doe — a former female inmate in Rikers Island women’s prison in New York — was groped and raped by a male prisoner in 2022. In her lawsuit against the New York Department of Corrections, she alleged that the perpetrator told his cellmate that he claimed to be “trans” just so he could gain access to women.
Join Us in 40 Days of Prayer and Fasting for Our Nation
We can feel it, and we’re sure you can, too: The 2024 election just feels different than previous ones. It’s not just the issues at stake. Yes, one of our two major political parties is hard at work trying to erase the very difference between male and female that makes it possible to be fruitful and multiply, and seeking — through mass, unvetted “immigration” — to establish a one-party state without even the pretense of competition.
Jay Richards on New Expanded Edition of The Privileged Planet
In 2004, Dr. Jay Richards and Dr. Guillermo Gonzalez published a bold hypothesis: not only is Planet Earth well-suited for advanced life like ourselves, it’s also finely tuned for scientific discovery. Materialists put this down to cosmic coincidence, but the array of evidence Richards and Gonzalez marshal in support of their argument suggests otherwise.

Trans Juggernaut Hits a Speedbump: Landmark Study Reveals ‘Transgender’ Kids Actually Have Other Mental Health Diagnoses, Instead
It’s been a red-letter week for destroying the gender narrative. And the trans juggernaut just hit another speed bump. Fresh off the heels of the transgender-identified men to compete in women’s athletic events in any of its association’s 239 small private schools, a landmark study was released on Wednesday that defies the hysterical warning that if gender dysphoric adolescents don’t receive “gender-affirming care,” they will kill themselves.
What Is Gender Ideology?
Recently, I received separate inquiries from reporters working on stories about the use of the term “gender ideology.” What do I think it means? What is its origin? The requests, though they came from different reporters, were identical. This seemed suspicious. After all, these journalists showed no interest in explaining or analyzing the ideology that has passed through our culture faster than a viral particle through a loose-fitting surgical mask.
