Congratulations on your incredible win last night, sir. We knew that God was up to something. I have a few thoughts about the mandate on your next term in office. I can relate, to some extent; pastoring a Bible-believing church in California is not easy, but I’m surrounded by many good people. We all understand the enormous value of getting the nation back on track (spiritually speaking). Many are not called to flee, but to fight. California is still a great state and America a great nation.

There has been an ongoing debate over whether a fetus is a human being. Even many Christians believe the Scriptures are either silent or ambiguous regarding abortion. To answer this question, I look at both Scripture and science. In terms of science, sonograms and advances in technology have provided clear evidence that babies in the womb exhibit all the characteristics of human life: they have unique DNA and they grow, move, and respond to stimuli.

The polls are open, the campaigning is done, and Election 2024 now lies in the hands of “We, the People.” Heavy turnout is already being reported in red areas in swing states, with lengthy lines forming long before polls even opened. Even Bucks County, Pennsylvania, which until a few weeks ago had more registered Democrats than Republicans, is jumping. Long lines everywhere in Bucks County. My heart sings so loudly.

I’m writing this before Election Day, but since we all know the results won’t be clear for days or weeks — as the Democrats try to cheat, and half the Republicans wink and enable them — it can be read any time before the final results are certified and still be timely. How do we keep our heads and stay close to God through the tempest of these upcoming days? The stakes of this race could hardly be any higher. The War Party and the Abortion Party have merged.

Tensions are high, and all eyes are on the November elections. What will the results mean for our nation? It is a critical time in history for both America and our world. While leaders determine a nation’s course, God is sovereign and can be trusted. Let’s humbly seek His Presence and His intervention on behalf of America. In a posture of unity, let’s agree that He is the only one who can turn the tide in our nation.

Welcome back for Al’s Afternoon Tea, our last chance to gather before Election Day. It’s Up to You We’ve traveled a long road in Campaign 2024. You can say it began when counting stopped in swing states and hundreds of thousands of ballots magically appeared for Joe Biden after America went to bed on election night in 2020, and the American people were deplatformed, told to shut up, and even jailed for saying that something funny was going on.

In a previous column for the Stream, I warned that if Donald Trump is defeated at the polls tomorrow, it could land all of us people of faith and advocates for freedom in prison. The hyperbole was grounded in the growing reality of leftist state tyranny. (Just ask P’Nut the squirrel, if you can locate his remains.) Leftist state tyranny is not some mere hypothetical.

Here’s what this real voter in the real world really thinks about things that really matter. I have exactly zero expectation that Kamala Harris will ever care what I think, and I pray earnestly that she loses this election. May God yet have mercy on us. I have only small hopes that Donald Trump will care what I think, and I pray earnestly that he wins this election. Regardless, here’s what I would say to our next president, and to our next Congress.

I am addressing all of you a few days before the presidential election that will call millions of American citizens to the polls.
