Sure, on paper the game is a classic turn-based RPG and hero’s journey, but at its heart— from its landscapes to its soundscapes to its cosmic horror premise— it’s an homage to France’s artistic heritage.

Sony has announced that it is exploring new ways to drop titles onto the service by introducing a multi-week release schedule for its three largest markets: the US, UK, and Japan. While smaller regions will still get access to the entire June catalog on the traditional global release day of June 16, 2026, major territories are going to have a fragmented rollout that spaces out titles across the entire month.

Sony has dropped the full lineup for the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tiers for June 2026, and it is easily one of the best updates the subscription service has seen in months. Leading the charge is Final Fantasy XVI, making its highly anticipated subscription service debut. Joining it is the high-speed chaos of Sonic X Shadow Generations and the historical realism of Kingdom Come: Deliverance, offering a diverse lineup of massive AAA titles to jump into this summer.
