Jayson is Director of Research and Conservation at the Philippine Eagle Foundation, a conservation NGO. He is also a Senior Lecturer at the College of Science and Mathematics at University of the Philippines-Mindanao. He received his PhD degree in Natural Resource Management from Charles Darwin University, Australia. He has BS and MS Biology degrees from UP Los Banos and Ateneo de Davao University, respectively. He champions Indigenous people and local community engagement in conservation.
